There will only be one elevator in operation between 5:30 am and 6:30 am on Thursday, May 17, 2012 as we will be conducting the monthly generator transfer switch testing.

SUITE DOORS SLAMMING SHUT

If your suite door “slams shut” on a regular basis please contact the management office during business hours to fill-out a “Maintenance Request Form”. After hours you may contact the concierge desk and the Corporation’s superintendent will attend to your suite as soon possible and adjust the door closer.

Also, please ensure that the windows in your suite are closed as the draft will further speed-up the door thus causing it to “slam shut”.

NO HOT & COLD WATER – THURSDAY, MAY 3-2012

Please be advised that on Thursday, May 3, 2012 the back-flow preventer will be tested as required by the municipal by-laws.

The work will be carried out between the hours of 9:00 am to 12:00 pm and there will be No Hot & Cold Water for the entire building.

Please plan accordingly and store some water for immediate use and make sure that all your faucets are in the off position to avoid any flooding when the water is turned back on.

ADDENDUM TO THE GARAGE CLEANING

Please remove your vehicle in a timely manner as vehicles left in the underground will be exposed to the dust and the overspray of the cleaning equipment.

The Corporation will not be responsible for damages to any vehicles or personal items left in the garage.

PLEASE PARK ON THE EAST SIDE OF DORIS AVENUE BETWEEN GREENFIELD AVENUE & EMPRESS AVENUE.

Residents will have to pick up a slip from the concierge desk that should be displayed on their vehicles’ dashboard. This will identify to the parking enforcement authorities that our building has the clearance to park in the area mentioned above.

DO NOT PARK IN THE FIRE ROUTES AND NEAR FIRE HYDRANTS!

INSPECTION AND TEST

9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

The Corporation will be inspecting and testing the Fire and Life Safety System over a four day period on the above noted dates. As part of this project, a licensed technician accompanied by the Corporation’s superintendent will enter your suite.

Right of entry is granted by the Ontario Condominium Act, 1998 and the Fire Code. Due to the need to proceed in an orderly fashion, we regret that individual appointments will not be offered.

The alarms will sound at various times on these days during the inspection and test. If there is a true emergency, residents will be advised on the emergency voice communication system.

Your safety is important to us. We thank you for your patience and co-operation during this very important project.
